Spent the last week in Leadville and found the ONLY place in town to eat is the Golden Burro! The place was jammed most of the times were were in, so it's obvious it's the local's choice. We always ask around in the towns when we travel where the best place to eat is. Everyone we talked to in Leadville says the Golden Burro. They were right!
We've never been treated so well in any restaurant we've been in. The service and attentive attitude of their staff is rare in this day and age.
The food was awesome too! Breakfast is a must, and their dinners were absolutely fantastic. The entire menus are a treat in themselves.
We'd highly recommend the Golden Burro as THE place for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
